Enhancing the Smartclick M12-type connector family are the XS5M panel-mount plugs and XS5P panel-mount sockets in both front and rear panel-mount versions. The IP67-rated circular industrial connectors feature a one-touch bayonet locking system, enabling connection with one eighth of a turn. According to the company, assemblers will experience less fatigue and easier blind mating. Additionally, the components come with 0.5m-long 20 AWG color-coded leads.
