Supporting 1.58-mm thick add-on cards and various frequency requirements, the company's line of 1-mm edgecard connectors now include a full series of PCI Express components conforming to PCI-SIG specifications. Enabling upgrades and bandwidth support to implement PCIe technology for desktop PCs and server systems, they feature slots accepting 1.58-mm thick add-on cards and from one to 32 high-speed serial PCIe lanes, each matching different bandwidth capabilities. Connectors are available with 36 (x1), 64 (x4), 98 (x8), and 164 (x16) contact positions in right-angle and straddle mount-versions as well as vertical and through-hole styles with 230 (x24) and 280 (x32) positions to support riser card applications. Additionally, components are available in black, blue, green, or purple. Average prices range from $0.006 to $0.028 per contact in quantities of 1,000.
