Loopback Components Ease Parallel Optical Device Testing

February 26, 2008
Offering a compact means of network testing and device burn-in, the MPO Loopback Series loops back eight to12 fibers within a small housing for testing optical links on PC blades, parallel optical devices, and the latest QSFP modules for SFP designs. RoHS-compliant, the compact body design allows close stacking between PC blades, equipment covers, and devices. Multi-mode (MM) and single-mode (SM) versions are also available as well as custom packages including custom attenuation levels and identification labels for part numbers, dB levels and mode, and color-coded housings for multi-mode and single-mode identification.
