Satisfying requirements of the USB 2.0 spec that calls for EMI/ESD protection according to industry specs, the company offers a series of USB connectors that incorporate EMI or ESD filters into an industry-standard package. The connectors are drop-in replacements for unfiltered components and may eliminate the need to redesign PC boards in the event of noncompliance during either EMC or ESD testing. Various models meet the requirements of USB 2.0 and USB On-The-Go (OTG) specifications and all are RoHS compliant. The connectors specify a working voltage of 5 Vdc with a maximum current rating of 1A. Contact resistance of 30 mO maximum.
