PGI Compilers/Tools Take Leopard By The Tail

For Intel processor-based Macintosh computers running Mac OS X, the PGI Workstation suite of 64-bit parallel compilers and tools adds support for the 64-bit enabled Mac OS X Leopard. According to the company, adding Mac OS X support alongside Linux and Windows, HPC developers can target all the primary platforms using one software-development environment. The PGI Workstation includes a compiler and tools for building, debugging, and profiling 64-bit and 32-bit Fortran, C, and C++ applications. Compiler features include automatic and user-directed parallelization and optimizations for extracting full performance from the latest multi-core processors.
