Cirronet’s ZigBee Modules Minimize Programming

October 18, 2007
The ZMN2405HP single-chip ZigBee modules employ the company's proprietary CSM profile that virtually eliminates programming requirements. Consuming 65 mW, they provide 25 dB of output power, adjustable via software configuration for use under ETS 300328 rules. Based on a Texas Instruments CC2430 SoC, the modules run on the most recent stack approved by the ZigBee Alliance. They integrate three 12-bit ADCs and consume a sleep current of less than 3 µA. Other features include six GPIO lines, two DACs, a UART, and a SPI port, allowing for a variety of sensor inputs or data streams. For more details, call CIRRONET INC., Duluth, GA. (678) 684-2000.
