Eight-Bit Digitizers Balance Speed, Memory And Bandwidth

June 28, 2007
The next-generation of Cobra family eight-bit digitizer cards promise an optimal combination of speed, memory, and bandwidth as well as a comprehensive suite of advanced features. Available with one or two channels, sampling speeds span to 2 Gsamples/s and input bandwidths range to 1 GHz. For mass-data applications, the cards offer up to 4 Gsamples of acquisition memory and for applications requiring simultaneous digitizing channels, it is possible to interconnect up to eight cards in a single chassis, achieving true multi-card synchronization via the company's internal clock distribution technology. Timing features include trigger time stamping, clock in/out, trigger in/out, and 10-MHz reference clocking. GAGE APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES, Lockport, IL. (800) 780-8411.
