Sensors Recognize Three Independent Colors
September 2006 Issue
Published Date: September 18, 2006
Groomed for sorting, positioning, and quality-control applications, the Dura-Vue DF12 series color sensors can be taught to recognize three independent colors with a single sensor and in varying degrees of tolerance. Programming is fairly simple via a potentiometer setting at the sensor, or by a remote teach signal from a PLC. Each output automatically sinks or sources current based on its connected load. Additionally, the components sport harsh-duty, metal-frame housings with swivel connectors. PEPPERL+FUCHS INC., Twinsburg, OH. (330) 486-0001.
