Published Date: May 12, 2006
Based on a 486/586 core, the SBC1491ET PC/104 single-board computer takes less than 5s to boot up using an industrial BIOS or DOS while operating in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The 3.55" x 3.775" SBC provides standard features such as SVGA support, dual serial ports, and 10 Base-T Ethernet connectivity. It employs an STPC Atlas processor with operating speeds from 120 to 133 MHz and supports 64 MB of RAM and up to 576 MB of solid-state flash. In addition to DOS, software development packages are available for Linux, Windows CE, and VxWorks. Additionally, Borland or Microsoft C/C++ 16-bit .EXE files can be downloaded upon receipt, and the SBC can be configured to boot 32-bit operating systems. Including a development kit with cables, sample software, and documentation, price is $512 each. A commercial temperature version (0°C to +70°C) is also available starting at $455.
