Pentium M SBC Scrimps On Power
December 2005 Issue
Published Date: December 14, 2005
Sporting a half-size footprint, the NuPRO-825 single-board computer reduces power consumption by enlisting the services of an 855GME chipset with up to 1 MB of level 2 cache and either a Pentium or Celeron M processor operating at speeds from 600 MHz to 1.3 GHz. The board hosts up to 2 GB of un-buffered DDR 266/333 SDRAM with ECC support and accommodates LVDS/DVI displays, four USB 2.0 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two Serial ATA ports, and compact flash memory. To further reduce size and component count, it features a fanless design. Other features include AC’97 version 2.3, audio plus PCI and Super I/O. Single-unit price is $1,000.
