Integrating features of the company's enhanced SC/UPC connector into an SC/APC connector, the 2.4 mm SC/APC jumpers have been tested to Telcordia GR-326, Issue 3: Service Life-Part A, using standard match-cladding fiber. According to the company, using this fiber instead of a bend-insensitive type ensures reliable performance even when external loads are present.
