Designed for high reliability and mobile digital-video recording applications, the eight-channel CTR-1471 PC/104 , JPEG-2000 encoder card can withstand extreme temperatures and mechanical stress. It contains a dedicated wavelet transform engine, three entropy codecs, memory system, and dual embedded RISC processors. The card processes images at a rate of 40 Msamples/s in reversible mode and higher rates in irreversible mode.
