Designed for cost-sensitive markets, including medical electronics, industrial controls and base stations, the company’s latest 50 SMA connectors include crimp/solder center contacts on the cable plugs, a low number of parts for ease of assembly, and stand-off steps on the legs of the PCB jacks. A range of components includes straight and right-angle plugs and jacks for popular flexible coaxial cables, 0.141" and 0.085" semi-rigid and conformable cables, and PCB and flange-mount variations. The brass-body connectors come with a gold-plated finish and accommodate frequencies from dc to 18 GHz.
