Based on the LAN extensions for instrumentation (LXI) standard, the 48-channel EX 1048 thermocouple instrument includes all necessary functions for precision temperature measurement. The high-density, scalable instrument promises to simplify installation and reduce setup time by directly connecting to a network. Multiple devices can be integrated and synchronized via a built-in LXI Triggerbus interface. Each channel provides a sampling rate of 1 Ksamples/s, coupled through independent signal-conditioning lines and programmable filters.
