Power Inductors Play It Cool
September 2004 Issue
Published Date: September 24, 2004
Handling frequencies as high as 500 kHz, the low-loss series 2100LL, 2200LL, and 2300LL high-current power inductors employ a ferrous-alloy-powder toroid core with distributed air gaps, allowing them to maintain a low temperature rise. With a maximum current rating of 34A, the components operate in temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. They are available with inductance values from 1 to 1,000 mH, or custom values upon request, and in both horizontal and vertical mounting configurations. Other features include a self-shielding design. Depending on value and quantity, prices range from $2 to $2.75 each. For further information, call. J.W. MILLER, Gardena, CA. (310) 515-1720.
