Brushless Motors Replace Brush Types

Designed as a drop-in replacement for conventional brush motors in applications where long life and quiet operation are critical, the company's 12V, two-wire brushless dc motor is available with both double-ended and single-ended shaft configurations. The motor is said to be capable of withstanding high-vibration loads, such as cyclical shaft loading conditions, and is suitable for compact, battery-operated applications. The motor measures 62 mm long with a diameter of 31 mm and can deliver up to 20W while operating from a 12V supply. A variety of electrical and mechanical options are available including windings for specific power requirements, as well as custom mounting configurations.
