SVGA Controller Supports LCDs And CRTs

Supporting resolutions from QVGA to XGA, the 104FX PC/104, SVGA video card supports both analog CRT and flat-panel LCD-TFT monitors. Operating from a 5V supply, the card teams a Chips & Technologies 65545 VGA controller with 1 MB of video DRAM, a 32-bit hardware graphics accelerator, and TTL output control signals. Panels supported by the factory BIOS include 16-bit STN, 4/6.3 MHz monochrome, dual-scan color, and 9-, 12-, and 18-bit TFT. Other features include a flash-programmable video BIOS, power switching and sequencing, variable bus-voltage supply, normal, sleep, and power-saving modes, linear memory addressing, and over-current, reverse-polarity, and over-voltage protection.
