Poised for applications in automotive telematics, the IDB IEEE1394 cable assemblies and corresponding pc board-mount sockets meet IDB/IEEE 1394 standards and specifications. Four different versions of cable assemblies are available in lengths of up to 10m with bilingual plug-to-bilingual plug, bilingual plug-to-beta plug, bilingual plug-to-IEEE 1394 audio/video plug, and bilingual-to-IEEE 1394-95 plug. The assemblies are hot-pluggable and can be used for daisy chain applications. And a positive locking feature with audible click ensures integrity and reliability. The right-angle socket includes SMT contacts and through-hole, pc board hold-down features as part of the outer shell. The socket is fully shielded and can withstand 7,500 mating cycles. LUMBERG INC.
