Temperature Sensor Is Highly Accurate

Reportedly the most accurate SPI-compatible temperature sensor available in a SOT 23 package, the ADT7301 13-bit temperature-to-digital converter provides a measurement accuracy of ±0.5°C from 0°C to 70°C and is specified for operation from –40°C to 150°C. The IC operates on voltages from 2.7V to 5.5V and consumes just 1 µA. Other features include a serial interface and compatibility with SPI, QSPI and MICROWIRE protocols, as well as with DPSs. In addition to SOT 23 packaging, the ADT7301 is available in a 10-lead MSOP. Price is $1.20 each/1,000. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Wilmington, MA. (800) 262-5643.
