A new series of real-time spectrum analyzers targets cutting-edge RF technologies ranging from RFID tags to sophisticated radar applications. The RSA Series is designed to trigger on, capture and analyze RF signals. A frequency mask trigger allows users to define both the frequency and power amplitude conditions under which the instrument captures the signal information. Internal memory, which is either 2 or 64 MB, depending on the model, enables users to capture signal information for analysis. Analysis tools include a spectrogram display, which plots frequency and power amplitude changes over time. The display can also present time-correlated views of the time, frequency and modulation domains. The RSA2200A Series has a real-time capture bandwidth of 10 MHz and comes with 2 MB memory, while the RSA3300A Series has a 15 MHz bandwidth and comes with 64 MB memory standard, 256 MB optional. Both the RSA2200A RSA3300A Series can perform AM, FM (ASK, FSK), and PM modulation analysis. As an optional feature, the RS3300A can do general-purpose digital modulation analysis.
