Available in densities of 1, 2, 4, and 8 GB, the company's PC2700-registered DDR DIMM promises to boost computing performance via it's 333 MHz operating speed and to lower costs by employing 256 Mb devices without stacking. The 1 GB DIMM features a data transfer rate of 2.7 GB/sec, making it suitable for high- performance computing applications such as Linux/Unix clusters and enterprise class servers.
