This "first-of-a-kind" placement machine has been developed to extend the capability of Fuji, Panasonic and other surface-mount technology assembly lines by easing handling of ultra-small chip and micro-BGA components. The Model M-Cube mini module is designed to place 0201 chip, µBGA, CSP and SMT connectors on pc boards. And the unit is said to require little if any additional floor space.
