Station Probes Circuit Assemblies Automatically
August 2003 Issue
Published Date: August 01, 2003
Said to combine the accuracy and performance of the company's ProTrack circuit probers with the freedom provided by general-purpose test equipment, and in particular equipment employed where the circuit card is in a powered-up state, the Huntron Access serves as an open architecture, automated probing station that accelerates the design verification of printed circuit assemblies. The station can be integrated with general-purpose automated test equipment (ATE) by coupling it with National Instruments's LabVIEW software. The initial demo application of the Huntron Access used National's Virtual Meter card that communicates with the probing station through LabVIEW. The software drivers and application were written by Aerosmith Inc. HUNTRON INC., Mill Creek, WA. (800) 426-9265.
