LCD Monitor Is Readable In Sunlight

A new sunlight-readable LCD monitor has been designed for ATMs and banking applications. Achieving fully-readable screens in any weather conditions, the Mitra system is entirely visible in any light, making it a useful display screen for outdoor use and night vision. Used in conjunction with the company’s GI2000 inverter range, the Mitra panel can be dimmed beyond a 500:1 ratio, achieving easy viewing in any weather condition. A thermal management system secures normal operation of the display in temperatures up to 55°C. If an ATM breakdown occurs, the company says the broken monitor can be completely removed by a field engineer and replaced with a working ATM monitor within 24 hours anywhere in the world.
