A unique, advanced design is said to be responsible for a viewing angle of 180° in the 1105CK surface-mount LED. Claiming an industry first, the wider viewing angle provides uniform light distribution, making the LED suitable for use in backlighting keypads and a variety of switches. The wide-angle LED is available in yellow-green (572 nm) and provides a typical luminous intensity of 8 mcd at 10 mA. Typical forward voltage is 2.1V and 2.8V maximum at 10mA. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Additional colors planned for the near future include yellow (590 nm), orange (605 nm), and red (626 nm).
