DSO Triggers On CAN Bus Signals

The Model DL7200 four-channel, 2 Gsamples/s, 500 MHz digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) has the added ability to trigger on and analyze CAN bus signals. The DSO has a memory length of up to 16 Mword per channel and has the ability to acquire many frames from a CAN bus. Bus rates from 33 kb/s to 1 Mb/s can be accommodated as well as 11-bit and 29-bit data formats. The scope can trigger on start-of-frame, specified identifiers, RTR, specified data, and error frames. Other features include the ability to display signal information in a binary or hex format and the ability to view three additional signals and 16 logic inputs for signal verification at each node. Differential probes with 100 MHz and 500 MHz bandwidths are also available. The DSO is priced at $15,000. YOKOGAWA CORP., Newman, GA. (770) 254-0400.
