MMIC SPDT Switch Has Tiny Profile And Footprint

Claimed to be the industry's smallest such device, the UPG2008TK GaAs MMIC single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch measures only 1.3 mm x 1.5 mm and 0.55 mm high. At half the height of standard SOT-363 devices, the switch comes housed in the company's recessed-lead TK package. Other features of the MMIC SPDT switch include an insertion loss of 0.4 dB (typical) at 1 GHz, isolation of 25 dB at 0.5 to 2.5 GHz (typical), and a PIN of +25 dB at a 1 dB compression point.
