A new quick connection system called QUiX contact inserts is now available for the companyÕs HEAVYCON-B heavy duty industrial plug connectors. The QUiX contact inserts, rated for 500V/16A, can be terminated using insulation displacement technology. According to the company, the advantages of the QUiX system are: no stripping of wires, no special tools required and up to 80% time savings. The HEAVYCON-QUiX inserts are available with 6, 10, 16 and 24 positions in plug and socket versions. Each connection is equipped with a 2 mm test point.
