Data Recorder Gets Read/Write Feature
April 2001 Issue
Published Date: April 01, 2001
The DataMAX instrumentation recorder now includes a read-after-write data verification feature that eliminates data differences possible between recorded data and viewed data when using the d/a converter output of typical DAT recorders. The system combines Windows NT with storage area network (SAN) disk access.
Opening two Windows applications in the control software, one for recording and one for real-time review, the review software reads data from the disk file and displays what is saved to disk as the data is being acquired and stored. The recorder is available with a minimum of eight channels up to a maximum of 88 channels. Starting price is $25,000 with delivery from stock to four weeks ARO.
