Built to meet the high reliability needs of the telecom industry, the company's new 4U enclosure is a low-profile CompactPCI NEBS-ready system, said to be ideal for those who require central office standards compliance in a small form factor. The 4U Compact PCI PRO System includes a four-slot Compact PCI backplane with an H.110 telephony bus, a 400W ATX power supply, and disk-drive bays for one 5.25" and two 3.5" drives. Compliant with the PICMG hot-swap specification, the system has a front-accessible hot-swap fan tray and accepts 80 mm rear transition modules. Constructed of sturdy aluminum extruded rails and formed sheet metal, the system fits into standard 19" racks. Pricing starts at $1,495.
