April 2001 Issue
Published Date: April 01, 2001
Aimed at telecommunications, Internet, telephony, industrial and medical markets, the GP1013X is an integrated, 13-slot, CompactPCI development system with full hot-swap capability. Based on the company’s G8 enclosure, the GP1013X is said to easily migrate from a development system to a production product. Highlights of the system include an Intel Celeron or Pentium III computing engine, dual Ethernet ports, high resolution video, all required drives and pre-installed operating system, as well as optional full hot-swap middleware for high availability systems that conform to PICMG 2.12 R1.0 standards. Cooling technology used with the product is said to provide separate cooling sections for cards, power and drives, making it thermally stable in high-ambient temperatures.
