200+ Carbon Steel Enclosures Added To Line April 2001 Issue Published Date: April 01, 2001
In a major product expansion, more than 200 types of carbon steel enclosures are now available over the Internet for users of industrial and OEM electrical enclosures. Ten different groups of enclosures range from small, wall-mount units to large, freestanding double-door units. All of the the new enclosures are polyester-powder-coated to increase resistance to chalking and color change, as well as changes due to aging. The coating on the phosphatized, cold-rolled steel is said to be chip-resistant, and impervious to chemicals and stains. They are suitable for general industrial use, indoors or outdoors, and all are NEMA Type 4 and Type 12 rated and UL and CSA-approved.
