Gang Programmer Supports Eight Devices
October 2000 Issue
Published Date: October 01, 2000
Capable of supporting the concurrent programming of up to eight devices, the MP8011A multiple programming system was developed for EPROM-, EEPROM-, and Flash-based microcontrollers. Different device packages can be accommodated through DIP, SDIP, SOIC, PLCC and QFP adapters. The PC-hosted programmer communicates with a Windows 95/98/NT/2000 user interface through the LPT parallel port. The device hardware has two separate sections: a single, universal and upgradeable base unit, ready to support current and future devices; and a number of device-specific programming sites called Sockets. Blank checking, reading, erasing, programming and verifying operations are supported.
A standard delivery package consists of the main gang programmer unit, external power supply adapter, parallel cable, and user's guide.
