Cabinet Cooler Works In Non-Hazardous Areas
May 2000 Issue
Published Date: May 01, 2000
The company's Cabinet Coolers keep dirt, smoke and water out of electrical enclosures located in non-hazardous areas while purging them with clean, 20°F air. The insides of the cabinet panels stay clean and contaminant free. The Non-Hazardous Purge (NHP) Cabinet Coolers use a vortex tube to convert an ordinary supply of compressed air into cold air without the use of refrigerants or environmentally harmful CFCs. Providing cooling capacities up to 2800 BTU/hr., these devices are suited for NEMA 12, 4 and 4X enclosures. Corrosion resistant stainless steel construction is available and all models are UL listed. Applications include cooling microprocessors, PLCs, motor drives, and robotic controls. Prices start at $450.
