Triple ADC Boasts It's An Industry First April 2000 Issue Published Date: April 01, 2000
Touted as the industry's first high-performance, triple 10-bit CMOS A/D converter, the SPT7853 provides three ADCs in one 52-lead TQFP package for, what is claimed, a fraction of the cost and space of conventional single ADC devices. Features include low-noise performance at sample rates up to 30 Ms/s, a SINAD of 54.5 dB at video frequencies for a typical 8.7 effective number of bits, and a channel crosstalk of at least -66 dB. The device is available in a 12 x 12-mm, 52-lead TQFP and costs $10.90 each/1000.
