Users of the 509 Series of CompactPCI Configurable Systems can access and replace circuit cards, power supplies and disk drives quickly and easily, it's claimed. The lightweight systems are 19" rack-mountable, fully front pluggable and accessible, with an 8-slot 6U x 160 mm standard CompactPCI card cage. The standard 8-slot cPCI backplane is H.110 and basic Hot Swap compliant. The power supply for the series is ac auto ranging, N+1 redundant, hot swappable, and features outputs that are clearly marked with prominent LED displays. Provisions for a second power supply are also provided. The system enclosures measure 15.75" x 17.0" x 12.0" deep with front-accessible hot-swappable fan trays providing optimal cooling through three 90 cfm three-wire fans. Pricing begins at $2495.
