RF Relays Target High-Frequency Applications
April 2000 Issue
Published Date: April 01, 2000
The company has introduced three new types of NAiS Brand RF/microwave relays for applications using high-frequency signals such as cellular and satellite communications. The RX small microwave relays operate from 300 kHz to 2.5 GHz with an impedance of 50 ohms and an insertion loss of 0.2 dB or less and an isolation of 60 dB or more. This 1 Form C pcb-mount relay features VSWR of 1.2 dB or less and a return loss of 20.8 dB or more.
The RA relays are intended for use in LANs, ADSL, cable modems, PCS, and wireless local loop applications. They feature a metal cover for grounding and operate up to 1 GHz.
The RD coaxial relay operates up to 25.6 GHz with a power consumption of 700 mW. Insertion loss is 0.5 dB at 18 GHz and isolation is 60 dB at 18 GHz.
